Faculty members from the university participated in programme Teachers programme at Stanford University

As part of the partnership agreement between the Center for Innovation in Engineering (CII) and Stanford programme Stanford Technology Venture programme , faculty members from the university participated in programme Teachers programme Stanford University in the United States. The program took place from October 8 to 16, 2015, at Stanford University.

Participants included Alejandro Bonicelli, architect and instructor of the Construction Management course in the School of Architecture; Alejandro Erramún, academic coordinator of Multimedia, Animation, and Video Games in the School of Communication and Design; and Rosana Fernández, coordinator of the Pre-Incubator at the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE).

The CII was created by the Schools of Engineering at the Catholic University of Uruguay, the University of Montevideo, the University of the Republic, and Universidad ORT Uruguay with the National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII).
