The finalists will participate in another phase of the Seedstars World competition on March 3, 2016, in Switzerland, where workshops will be held between participants and international mentors, and on the final day they will present their startups to investors. The projects will compete for an investment of up to US$500,000.
During the Uruguay stage, the startups presented a pitch to the jury with the aim of highlighting the advantages they offer and their global profitability.
Seedstars, headquartered in Geneva, is a platform that connects investors with young entrepreneurs in markets outside of Silicon Valley and Western Europe.
GPSGAY is a Uruguayan social network aimed at the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community.
