Academics were appointed to the Inter-American Technical Commission of the Inter-American Accounting Association

Pablo Segalerba, a professor in the Taxation Department of the School of Management and Social Sciences, was elected on December 18, 2015, as a member of the Inter-American Technical Commission on Taxation and Fiscal Policy of the Inter-American Accounting Association (2015–2017 term).

Meanwhile, Nicolás Gambetta, academic coordinator of the graduate programs in Accounting and Taxation, was appointed on December 30 as a member of the Inter-American Technical Commission on Auditing Standards and Practices of the Inter-American Accounting Association (for the 2015–2017 term).
