Universidad ORT Uruguay the first Uruguayan institution to publish educational materials on this Harvard Business School website.
The published cases are "Nix and the Soft Drink Industry in Uruguay" by Enrique Kramer, academic coordinator of Management and Administration at the school, and "Pay True Solutions" by Marcel Mordezki, professor of Technology Management and Innovation, along with Enrique Kramer and Dr. Luis Silva Domingo, academic coordinator of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. Both cases were published in Spanish and English and were accompanied by their respective teaching notes, also in both languages.
The publication is part of the CLADEA-BALAS Case Consortium (CBCC), of which Universidad ORT Uruguay a member. It comprises a select group of business schools in Ibero-America, including EGADE at the Monterrey Institute of Technology, Mexico; ESADE Business School, Spain; IAE Business School, Argentina; the Institute of Higher Studies in Administration (IESA), Venezuela; the Central American Institute of Business Administration (INCAE), Nicaragua and Costa Rica; and the University of the Andes (Colombia).
Universidad ORT Uruguay additional cases currently undergoing the approval and publication process. This process is extremely rigorous, as it involves a double-blind review similar to that applied to publications in scientific journals, conducted by highly qualified faculty members from the member schools.
