Visiting Professors in Graduate Programs at the School of Management and Social Sciences

In December 2016, the School of Business and Social Sciences welcomed three visiting professors, who taught courses in the MBA program, the Master’s in Financial Management, the Master’s in Accounting and Finance, and the Master’s in Taxation and Accounting Standards – IFRS.

Dr. César Omar López, a tenured professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance at the School of Economics and Business Administration of the Universidad Autónoma de Occidente in Colombia, taught the course “Social and Environmental Accounting” from December 5 to 9, 2016, as part of the Master’s in Accounting and Finance, the Master’s in Taxation and Accounting Standards – IFRS, and the Specialization Diploma in Accounting.

Prof. López holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Seville, Spain. He is a Certified Public Accountant from La Gran Colombia University, Colombia.

Prof. Yanira Petrides, professor at the School of Management and Accounting at the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM), taught the Seminar on Ethics from December 12 to 14, 2016, as part of the Master’s in Taxation and Accounting Standards– IFRS, the Master’s in Accounting and Finance, the Master’s in Financial Management, the Specialization Diploma in Finance, and the Specialization Diploma in Accounting.

Prof. Petrides holds a Master of Accounting from Florida International University and a Master’s in Philosophy from the Universidad Anáhuac del Sur, Mexico. She is a Certified Public Accountant through ITAM.

Pablo Heinig, a professor in the Human Resources department at ESADE’s Buenos Aires Campus, led the Responsible Leadership Workshop on December 13, 2016, as part of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.

Prof. Heinig holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Córdoba. He is the Director of Programme for the Entertainment Industry at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), Argentina. He is the Secretary General of the Ibero-American Network of Leisure Studies Centers.
