Book Launch in Buenos Aires for *The Girl Who Watched the Trains Leave*

On March 14, 2017, the book launch for Ruperto Long’s *La niña que miraba los trenes partir* took place at the residence of the Uruguayan Embassy in Argentina. The author spoke with Prof. Charlotte de Grünberg, president of Universidad ORT Uruguay, and with writer Marcos Aguinis. The introduction was given by Uruguay’s ambassador to Argentina, Dr. Héctor Lescano. The event also featured special appearances by singer Lea Bensasson and musician Alberto Magnone.

One of the main characters in the play, the girl of the title, is Professor Charlotte de Grünberg, who recounts a period of her childhood in Nazi-occupied France.

The event was organized by the Uruguayan Embassy in Argentina and Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial.
