The article “The Evolution of School Classroom Design: The Cases of Uruguay and Costa Rica,” co-authored by Dr. Paula Cardellino, a faculty researcher at the School of Architecture, was published in July 2017 in the peer-reviewed journal*Arquitectura, Ciudad y Entorno* (Volume 12, Issue 34), published by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
The work was carried out in collaboration with Dr. Emily Vargas Soto, a professor and research associate at the Tropical Architecture Laboratory of the School of Architecture at the University of Costa Rica, and Architect Claudio Araneda, director of the Master’s Program in Project-Based Teaching in the Department of Design and Architectural Theory at the University of Bío-Bío, Chile.
The article was accepted in October 2016. Although the journal’s publication date is June 2017, it was released in July.
