Starting on March 28, the School of Engineering will offer continuing education courses for professionals and advanced students in computer science programs.

“Entrepreneurial Attitude”aims to encourage the creation of startups that make intensive use of information technology, provide experience working in multidisciplinary teams, and inspire a rethinking of current paradigms.

“Computer System Security”analyzes various aspects, roles, attack techniques, and prevention techniques, adopting a proactive approach tosecurity. It considers the actions to be taken in the event of incidents and/or attacks, as well as the prior establishment of an incident response team.

“Marketing”examines the management of highly uncertain scenarios and mechanisms for disseminating innovations, emphasizing the technology-focused marketing mix and the application of marketing models for intangible products to software or online sales.

“Database Application Tuning”aims to achieve optimal use of a relational database management system by applying tuning principles.

“IT Resource Management”provides the theoretical foundations for defining the professional profile of an organization’s systems manager, addressing the new role in a job market characterized by novel dynamics and abundant opportunities.
