Dr. Patricia Corbo, Academic Secretary of the School of Engineering, and Engineer Daniel Goldenberg, a faculty member at the School of Engineering, participated in the "Latin American Seminar-Workshop for the Identification of Technological Needs in Areas Related to Mechatronics and Their Linkage with Industry," which took place from March 3 to 5 in Mexico, as part of Phase 3 of an agreement between Mexico’s National Center for Teacher Training (CNAD), and JICA, the Japan International Cooperation Agency.

Dr. Patricia Corbo, Academic Secretary of the School of Engineering, and Daniel Goldenberg, a faculty member in the School of Engineering, participated in the "Latin American Seminar-Workshop on Identifying Technological Needs in Fields Related to Mechatronics and Their Linkage with Industry," which took place from March 3 to 5 in Mexico, as part of Phase 3 of an agreement between Mexico’s National Center for Teacher Training (CNAD) and JICA, the Japan International Cooperation Agency.

During Phases 1 and 2, Professors Matías Nogueira (in 2006) and Daniel Goldenberg (in 2009) traveled to receive training in robotics through six-week full-time courses; they subsequently supported the robotics activities carried out in secondary schools as part of the RAES (Robotics Applied to Secondary Education) under the coordination of André Fonseca, Professor of Analog Electronics and Automatic Control. Additionally, they participated in updating the automatic control courses for the Electronics Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering programs.

The objective of this seminar was to evaluate the work carried out in the previous phases and plan the third phase, identifying training needs in mechatronics and automation.
