On Thursday, April 8, the lecture “GQM+Strategies: A comprehensive methodology for aligning business strategies with software measurement” was held in the Auditorium of the School of Engineering. The lecture was presented by Prof. Victor Basili, a professor in the Department of Computer Science and a researcher at the Institute for Advanced Study at the University of Maryland. He is a founding member of the International Software Engineering Research Network (ISERN).
He served as executive director and chief scientist at the Fraunhofer Center for Empirical Software Engineering. He is the author of more than 250 articles in journals and conference proceedings, has delivered over 50 keynote speeches, and has served as editor-in-chief of IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering and Empirical Software Engineering: An International Journal, as well as editor of the Journal of Systems and Software.
