The purpose of this seminar is to introduce participants to the study of the epistemological traditions that have had the greatest influence on the development of theories of human learning. The role of the teacher explicitly and implicitly involves ways of perceiving, understanding, and interpreting the learning processes the teacher aims to promote. The study of these traditions, therefore, is a fundamental pillar of professional development.
