From Thursday, May 19, through Tuesday, May 31, the Faculty of Architecture (2633 España Blvd.) will host the exhibition “Reflections, Transparencies, and Textures,” curated by the Workshop 1 group from the Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design program, under the guidance of professors Antonio Del Castillo, Architect, and Jorge Migues, Architect. The exhibition is the result of a month of work by the workshop students, during which they experimented with the qualities of the three elements included in the exhibition’s title.

The process culminated in the creation of three two-dimensional models for each of the aforementioned elements, plus one model that freely combines them. These are displayed on individual sheets of paper, alongside a “magic cube”—a three-dimensional element installed as a freestanding piece in the space that invites visitors to explore its faces, which are also covered with experimental models created by the students.
