Dr. Inés Kereki, Professor of Programming in the School of Engineering, and Assistant Professor Víctor Paulós, Academic Secretary of the school, participated on October 17 and 18, 2013, in the “Expoaprende” exhibition, organized by Plan Ceibal. The event took place at the Sodre “Dr. Adela Reta” National Auditorium. During the event, they worked with Dr. Mitchel Resnick, LEGO Papert Professor of Learning Research and Academic Head of the Programme Media Arts and Sciences at the Group Lifelong Kindergarten of the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) Media Lab. Professor Resnick is the creator of Scratch, a visual and intuitive programming learning system designed for children and adolescents, which is installed on the “Ceibalitas” distributed by Plan Ceibal to elementary and middle school students across the country.
