Faculty article accepted for publication in the peer-reviewed journal *Informatio*

The article "Citizen Appropriation of Science and Technology: The Case of Pedro Figari," by Prof. Agustín Courtoisie, a faculty member in the Bachelor of Communication program, was accepted for publication in December 2014 by the peer-reviewed journal*Informatio*.

The publication is edited by the Information Institute of the School of Information and Communication at the University of the Republic.

Courtoisie is a professor of philosophy, essayist, and journalist.
