Article accepted for publication in the peer-reviewed journal *Maderas, Ciencia y Tecnología*

The article “Structural Characterization of Sawn Wood from Pine Trees Grown in Uruguay,” co-authored by Dr. Laura Moya, a researcher at the School of Architecture, was accepted for publication in January 2015 by the peer-reviewed journal *Maderas, Ciencia y Tecnología*, published by the University of Bío-Bío (Chile).

The article was co-authored by Andrea Cardoso and Matías Cagno, Junior Consultants in the Forestry Projects Department at the Technological Laboratory of Uruguay (LATU), and Hugo O'Neill, Senior Consultant in the Forestry Projects Department at LATU.

Moya holds a Ph.D. in Natural Resources with a focus on Forest Products from the University of Minnesota in the United States. She is a Level I Researcher in the National System of Researchers.
