The entrepreneurs behind the venture are Gastón Arbeletche, Mariana Morales Blanco, and Álvaro Muhlethaler, all graduates of the Systems Engineering program.
This recognition will allow the startup to continue growing and expand into other markets both within and outside the country through a franchise model.
The project originated in the elective course “Business Plan” that Mariana Morales took as part of her degree program. It was in this context that the idea emerged to offer a service that had not yet been developed in Uruguay: the installation of lockers in various locations.
LockIT is a locker service where people can store their belongings while engaging in other activities, thus avoiding the need to carry bags. The service also provides information on activities to do in the surrounding area to help users enjoy their free time.
