Dr. Pouso holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy and Letters from the Institute of Theater Studies at the Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris, as well as a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Performing Arts from the University of Paris X-Nanterre. She is an actress and theater director. Between 1992 and 1997, she performed in "Queen of Hearts" (Dir. Sergio Otermin), "Alice in Wonderland" (Dir. Mario Ferreira), and "Eight Women" (Dir. Walter Cotelo). She directed "Where’s Bruno?" (Theatre Intent, London, 2000) and served as Assistant Director for "Richter" (a chamber opera by Mario Lorenzo, a Franco-Argentine co-production, Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, Théâtre de la Villette in Paris, 2003).
Meanwhile, on August 30, the "Acting Direction Workshop (for film and television)" will begin, led by Alberto Rivero. This workshop, which will continue until December 9, aims to explore and refine acting direction, acquire tools to develop one’s own working methodology, and gain knowledge of various directing methods and models. Through different directing models, the methodology seeks to assist in the training of a director unfamiliar with the actor’s craft, transforming the workshop into a space for research on acting.
Alberto Rivero is the recipient of the Florencio Award for Best Director and Best Production for Heiner Müller’s “La Misión” (2002 season); the Florencio Award for Best Supporting Actor and Best Lighting for "The Hunchback of Notre Dame," adapted by Rafael Pence and directed by Ignacio Cardozo (2002 season, children’s theater); and the Florencio Award for Best Production, Best Director, and Best Lighting for Sergio Blanco’s "45" (2003 season).
