"Innovation, Growth, and Competitiveness" Conference as Part of the Executive Forum

On October 7, the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences hosted the conference “Innovation, Growth, and Competitiveness” (pdf), presented by Dr. Alberto Levy, Director of the Innovation, Growth, and Competitiveness Consulting Division at Deloitte Latin American Countries Organization, headquartered in Argentina. The event was organized by the faculty’s Center for Executive Education as part of the Executive Forum.


The recession is finally behind us, and companies around the world are beginning to focus on post-crisis challenges: innovation, growth, and international competitiveness. The speaker will offer participants a new perspective on aligning organizational resources with strategy. He will propose a set of diagnostic and transformation models capable of incorporating dimensions such as entrepreneurship, value creation, risk management, and social responsibility into strategic business thinking.

Dr. Levy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a degree in Public Accounting, and a Ph.D. in Economic Sciences from the School of Economic Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). He holds a Master’s degree in Cognitive Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology at the UBA. He is a Master Consultant from the Institute for Organizational Development in Israel. He holds an honorary Master’s degree in Business Administration from the European Forum Business School in Spain.

The Executive Forum is a platform of the Center for Executive Education designed to promote the exchange of ideas and ongoing professional development among the more than 7,000 executives who have participated in its programmes seminars since 1989. Through this forum, the goal is to make available to ORT’s executive community the innovations, new methodologies, and trends necessary to understand business development in today’s environment.
