On October 7, 2018, the university’s women’s futsal team finished as runners-up in the Cr. Jorge Oliver Cup, an annual futsal tournament organized by the University Sports League.
The following teams participated in the competition: Club Universidad Católica, the National Directorate of Police Education (DNEP), Hache de Fútbol, La 12 Universitaria, Malvín 59, Montevideo Rowing, and Universidad ORT Uruguay.
The roster included Victoria Álvarez, Lucía Chucarro, María Victoria Costa, María Elina Da Silva, Martina Fleurquin, Ema Marotta, María José Ortiz, Daniela Pfeffer, Valentina Porta, and Mariana Valdez, under the coaching guidance of Martín Sánchez.
