The university's women's futsal team finished as runner-up in the Gold Cup at the "20 Years of UDE" University Sports Tournament. The tournament, organized by the Universidad de la Empresa, took place on December 1 and 2, 2018, in Punta del Este.
The ISEF Maldonado tournament featured teams from the University of the Enterprise, the University of Montevideo, and Universidad ORT Uruguay.
The team consisted of Lucía Chucarro, María Victoria Costa, María Elina Da Silva, Martina Fleurquin, Ema Marotta, María José Ortiz, Valentina Porta, and Mariana Valdez, under the coaching of Martín Sánchez.
