A panel discussion on political communication, public affairs, reputation, and agenda-setting, in conjunction withthe upcomingMaster’s program in Government Communication and Public Affairs. Leading figures from the political and academic spheres will share different perspectives on the role of communication in decision-making processes.
This event is part of the Third InMediaciones Conference on Communication, a forum for discussion and exchange focused on the challenges, transformations, and new perspectives in contemporary communication.

MBA. Laura RaffoLaura Raffo is an economist who graduated from the University of the Republic ( has ) and holds an MBA from the University of Montevideo. She has more than 25 years of experience in management and executive positions at companies and organizations such as Antel, Manpower, PGG Wrightson, Endeavor, and ESPN, with experience in various markets throughout the region. She has taught at the University of the Republic ( Universidad ORT Uruguay ) and Udelar, and has served as a lecturer and media personality specializing in economics. She is the author of *Economics for Everyone* and *Your Money, Your Rules*.

Since 2018, he has served as Director of Public Opinion and Social Studies at Opción Consultores, where he leads applied social research and consulting projects for public agencies, international organizations, NGOs, and political groups, with responsibility for methodology, business operations, and communications. has He has an extensive background in social and market research, as well as experience teaching at the University of the Republic and the Universidad ORT Uruguay, where he served as a professor of research methodology and currently teaches.

Mario, M.A. RiordaA specialist in political communication with experience in government, electoral, crisis, and risk communication. He served as Dean of the School of Political Science and International Relations at the Catholic University of Córdoba and as Director of the Master’s Program in Political Communication at Austral University, where he currently teaches courses on government and crisis communication. has He has more than 30 years of experience as a consultant, having participated in more than 180 electoral processes and advised governments and political parties in Latin America on strategic planning for political communication, public policy, electoral strategies, and crisis management. He is President of the Latin American Association of Researchers in Electoral Campaigns (ALICE), an international lecturer and speaker, and the author and co-author of numerous publications on political and government communication.

Moderator: Dr. Estaban ZuninoHe holds a Ph.D. (2016) and a Master’s degree in Social and Human Sciences (2014) from the National University of Quilmes (Argentina), as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences (2010) from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina).
He also holds a postdoctoral degree in Social Sciences (2017) from the National University of Córdoba (Argentina) and a specialization in Human Rights and Critical Legal Studies (2018) from the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO).
He is also an associate researcher at Argentina's National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET).
