There are movies that leave a lasting impression on us, that make us want to stay a little longer in their world. That’s what happened in the Printing Techniques 1 course.
- Date: Sept. 22 through Oct. 5, 2026 Time: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Location: Downtown Campus - Cuareim 1451
Eight titles—*The Snow Society*, *Fantastic Mr. Fox*, *Scream*, *Spider-Man*, *Herbie*, *Breaking Bad*, *Gravity Falls*, and *Sex and the City*—served as the starting point for students to explore design through emotion and materiality.
Movies teach us how to see; printing teaches us how to touch. Here, it's not enough to "make a good impression": you have to make film prints.
The Graphic Design Bachelor's Programpresents "Film Impressions," an exhibition in which each team took a book as inspiration and, page by page, built its own universe, ultimately creating posters and T-shirts.
Each piece integrated traditional techniques—screen printing, engraving—with contemporary processes, and a color palette that extended beyond CMYK to include fluorescent, gold, and silver hues.
These pieces exude the process that brought them to life: the smell of ink, the printer’s craft, and the passion of those who created them.
Instructor: Ramiro Ozer Ami —holder of a bachelor's degree in graphic design and film director.
