  José Antonio, M.A. Ardavín

  Head of the LAC Division in the OECD's Global Relations Secretariat.

  Responsible for coordinating the OECD’s relations and outreach with the Latin American and Caribbean region. Before joining the OECD, he worked as an economist in the Economic Research Department of the Mexican Central Bank and as an advisor to Mexico’s Undersecretary of Finance and Public Credit.

  He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de Monterrey (ITAM) and a master's degree in public policy from Harvard University.

  Valeria, M.A. Csukasi

  Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uruguay since March 2025.

  
  Previously, she served as Uruguay's ambassador to Malaysia, with concurrent accreditation to Cambodia, Thailand, and Brunei Darussalam, and as director of the Asia, Africa, and Oceania Regional Office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

  
  She holds a master's degree in Gender and Comprehensive Public Policy from FLACSO Uruguay and a bachelor's degree in International Relations from the University of the Republic. She also holds a diploma from the Artigas Institute of the Foreign Service, Uruguay's Diplomatic Academy.

  Mag. Silvia da Rin Pagnetto

  Director of the Council and the Secretariat of the Executive Committee (SGE/CES) of the OECD.

  
  Before joining the OECD, she served as Chief of the Executive Board and External Relations at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) from 2015 to 2017, and as senior advisor to Uruguayan President José Mujica from 2013 to 2015.

  
  She also worked for the United Nations Programme t for Development (UNDP) from 2005 to 2013 as an advisor and, prior to that, as academic director of the Department of International Affairs at Sciences Po (Paris).

  
  Earlier in her career, she held positions at UNESCO and the Inter-American Development Bank as special assistant to the Assistant Director-General for Social and Human Sciences and as policy advisor to the Special Representative in Europe.

  
  He holds a master's degree in International Relations from Sciences Po and a master's degree in Economics and Law from Sorbonne Université.

  Mariella de Aurrecoechea, MBA

  Dean of the ORT School of Business and Social Sciences. 

  
  Her career spans more than three decades at Deloitte, where she was a partner until October 2025 and held senior leadership positions.

  
  Her most recent role, as Chief Value Officer, placed her at the center of decision-making regarding growth, risk management, sustainability, innovation, and value creation in complex organizations, bringing a contemporary perspective on business leadership.

  
  She holds a Professional Master's Degree in Business Management and Administration from the University of Montevideo (Uruguay). has a Certificate in Internal Auditing, which she earned from The Institute of Internal Auditors (United States). She is a Certified Public Accountant from the University of the Republic (Uruguay).

  
  In addition, has offers a Certificate in the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing from the Catholic University of Uruguay.

  Ambassador Ricardo González-Arenas

  Ambassador of the Uruguayan Foreign Service, former Permanent Representative of Uruguay to the OECD, and professor in the Department of International Studies at the Universidad ORT Uruguay.

  Juan Labraga, Ec. Labraga

  Director of the Trade Policy Office at the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

  He is a professor of International Trade in the School of Administration and Social Sciences at the Universidad ORT Uruguay.

  He holds a master's degree in International Economics from the University of the Republic (Uruguay) and a bachelor's degree in Economics from the same university.
