“25th Floor Sinergia Faro”, by the vamo.uy studio, composed of faculty members and graduates from the School of Architecture at Universidad ORT Uruguay in Universidad ORT Uruguay, is one of the projects nominated for the ArchDaily’s 2026 Building of the Year Award ArchDaily in Spanish.
An office project designed with flexibility in mind
The project is located on the 25th floor of Sinergia Faro, “the first LEED Platinum-certified building in Uruguay,” and is based on a functional reorganization of the workspace that integrates sustainability, flexibility, and spatial quality.

The publication of ArchDaily describes the floor plan as a “public space within the building,” featuring workspaces, meeting rooms, break areas, and dining spaces that accommodate various uses through mobile and adaptable furnishings. It also explains that the project is organized around a “curved path” that connects the different sections and directs views toward the façade.
Along the edges of the building, the design uses wood, brick, and vegetation to create an atmosphere that evokes the logic of an “elevated urban promenade.” Added to this are multifunctional pods at the core of the floor plan and features such as movable screens and glass enclosures, which allow for adjustments in openness, privacy, and adaptability depending on the use.
