July 6, 2009
The blogs “Sección Áurea,” by architect Álvaro Cármenes, associate professor of Visual Communication in the School of Communication and Design, and “Atolón de Mororoa,” by Graphic Design majors Juan Andrés Amodio, Diego Fernández Mañay, Diego Prestes, and Zelmar Borrás, were the only ones selected from Uruguay for publication in the book “Blogs, Mad about Design,” which compiles 242 blogs from around the world.

The publication is published by Maomao Publicaciones, a Barcelona-based publisher specializing in design and fashion that works with Harper Collins Design, PageOne, Taschen, and Rockport.

The book, which features texts in English and is distributed internationally by Page One Publishing, brings together "the most inspiring blogs dedicated to graphic design and related topics."

It is a hardcover book, 528 pages long, and lavishly illustrated in color.
