In Uruguay,five women are diagnosed each day, and it is estimated that one in 11 women may develop the disease at some point in their lives, according to data from the Ministry of Public Health.

Informational stickers featuring a QR code were placed in the restrooms of various university buildings; scanning the code allows users to set a monthly reminder on their cell phones to perform a breast self-exam.
The initiative aims to encourage the adoption of self-care practices and raise awareness about the importance of regular checkups.
The initiative was carried out in collaboration with SEMM, which was responsible for designing and producing the materials.
