These scholarships are intended for advanced students, faculty members, and graduates of Latin American higher education institutions, with the aim of pursue official master’s degree programs at the UPV, while also promoting the strengthening of international academic cooperation and the quality of graduate education in the Ibero-American region.
The application deadline is Thursday, April 30, 2026at 11:59 p.m. (GMT/UTC+02:00), Madrid time, and the 2026 edition offers up to a maximum of 33 scholarships. The UPV also notes that the application process is managed through the Ibero-American University Association for Postgraduate Studies (AUIP).
What Do the 2026 UPV–AUIP Scholarships Cover?
The amount of the grant includes the value of the ECTS credits for the master’s program corresponding to first-time enrollment, up to a maximum of 60 ECTS credits, and covers the administrative fees for opening a student file, the student ID card fee, and university health insurance.
The application guidelines set a maximum total amount of €166,100 for this call for applications and provide for an additional grant of €750. The call specifies that this grant is intended as a travel stipend for studies and applies only to students enrolled in master’s programs with in-person or hybrid instruction, provided that the programs cannot be completed entirely online and include an in-person period at the UPV.

Requirements and How to Apply
The call for applications is open to students and graduates from Ibero-American universities who wish to pursue a master’s degree at the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and be pre-enrolled in Phase 0 or Phase 1 of a master’s program at the UPV. The 2026 guidelines further state that, to apply for the scholarship, applicants may list up to three master’s programs in order of preference and must complete the pre-enrollment or admission process for each program along with their application.
