The recognition highlights the scope and quality of the initiatives supported by the CIE, as well as its ongoing contribution to the development of innovative new businesses in the country.

The award is given to projects that, with the support of the CIE, were able to secure public funding to validate their business models, obtain seed capital, and begin the process of international expansion.

In this way, ANDE recognizes the technical expertise and close support provided by the CIE team to entrepreneurs at every stage of the process.

This milestone also comes in a year in which the CIE has raised a record amount of public funding for startups, totaling USD 825,000.

These funds are allocated entirely to the startups supported by the center, with a focus on market validation, strengthening their initial sales, and preparing them to expand into other countries.

The award was presented during the National Meeting of Institutions Supporting Entrepreneurship, organized by ANDE on Monday, November 24, at Granja San Francisco. The event brought together organizations from across the country that serve as a bridge between entrepreneurs and public support programs.

Representing the CIE were Florencia Pucciano, MBA, coordinator of the CIE incubator, and Alexander Von Rappard, project monitoring officer.

This recognition reinforces the position of the CIE at Universidad ORT Uruguay a leader in incubation, support, and access to financing for innovative startups nationwide.
