During the conference “The Irrationality Behind ‘AI Ready’, organized by Alumni, he shared tools and recommendations to help AI generate real value in organizations rather than simply becoming a response to market trends.

The event, which took place on May 7 at the Business School, brought together professionals interested in understanding how to implement artificial intelligence in a strategic and sustainable manner that is aligned with business objectives.

In this context, the expert proposed four steps to begin—or continue—the strategic and sustainable implementation of artificial intelligence.

  • 1. Define a real problem

Before considering technology, it is essential to clearly identify the challenges you are trying to solve. Artificial intelligence yields better results when it addresses a specific business need rather than a market trend.

  • 2. Find out which tools can solve the problem

Once the problem has been defined, the next step is to analyze what technological solutions are available and which ones are best suited to the organization's context and objectives.

  • 3. Test, measure, and iterate

Implementing AI requires experimentation and continuous learning. That is why it is essential to conduct tests, evaluate results, and continuously refine processes to maximize the value generated.

  • 4. Manage the adoption

Technology alone does not guarantee success. Communicating the benefits, training teams, and supporting the change process are essential to ensuring that artificial intelligence is effectively integrated into daily practice and generates a long-term impact.

The speaker, Sebastián Márquez, is a psychologist with a master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and an MBA. He holds a Master’s Certificate in Human Resources, is a Certified Practitioner in Change Management, and has a certified consultant in the implementation of AI projects. has more than 15 years has leading transformation processes, strategic alignment, capacity building, and behavioral and cultural change in organizations across Latin America, the United States, and Europe.
