"Designing the Future" Launches a New Edition to Promote Creative Projects in the Digital Economy

The training program combines design, artificial intelligence, and business models to support entrepreneurs and artists in developing projects related to new technologies.

The "Designing the Future" program, sponsored by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) at the Universidad ORT Uruguay, is launching a new edition aimed at entrepreneurs in the design sector and artists interested in developing skills for the digital economy.

The proposal addresses the use of artificial intelligence, new technologies, and business tools to explore career opportunities and turn creative ideas into projects.

Training for the Digital Economy

"Designing the Future" aims to help participants understand the transformations of the digital economy and develop tools to create value propositions, identify opportunities, and work on their own projects.

The program combines content on innovation and trends, AI applied to design, new technologies, immersive experiences, business models, and project communication.

This training is designed for people working in creative fields who want to incorporate technological knowledge into their work. No advanced technical experience is required.

Teamwork and Mentoring

The program includes live classes, hands-on workshops, teamwork, and the exchange of ideas among participants. It also features mentoring opportunities and a virtual community for sharing knowledge and experiences.

Mentors at the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship guide the project development process, focusing on exploring the challenges and opportunities of the digital economy.

Faculty

The faculty is made up of professionals in the fields of design, innovation, artificial intelligence, business, and communication:

  • Gabriel Lambach, director at SimDesign VR Studio and professor at the Universidad ORT Uruguay.
  • Fabián Barros, academic coordinator of the Bachelor of Digital Arts program at the Universidad ORT Uruguay , and an expert in AI innovation.
  • Enrique Topolansky, director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Universidad ORT Uruguay.
  • Leticia Mato, an expert in communication and pitching.
  • Pedro Corso, assistant professor and instructor of generative AI at the Universidad ORT Uruguay.

Next issue

Monday, October 5, through Monday, December 28, with classes on Mondays and Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., held online via Zoom.

The proposal includes hands-on workshops, mentoring, and opportunities for exchange. The program is free for those selected as participants and requires prior registration.
