Employment Month 2026 will take place on October 15, 22, and 29,2026, at three locations of the Universidad ORT Uruguay. The event will bring together students and graduates with companies and leaders from various professional sectors.
The initiative builds on the experience from 2025, when the Faculty of Engineering’s traditional Job Fair was expanded to include all five of the university’s faculties.
The first edition of Employment Month brought together more than 5,000 students and 75 companies.
The goal is to facilitate direct contact between students, graduates, and organizations by providing venues where companies can present job opportunities, showcase their organizational culture, and interact with candidates whose profiles align with their areas of activity.
Three days
The first session will take place on October 15and is intended for students and graduates of the School of Architecture and the School of Management and Social Sciences. It will be held at the Pocitos Campus(919 Luis de la Torre).
On October 22, it will be the turn of the School of Engineering, at the Downtown Campus(Cuareim 1451). The third event will be held on October 29 for students and graduates of the School of Communication and the School of Design, at the Creative Hub (Avenida Uruguay 1179).
During the event, students and graduates will be able to tour the facilities of the participating companies.
The initiative also aims to promote the development of professional networks and foster an understanding of different fields of work. Students will have the opportunity to speak with leaders from various sectors and provide their contact information for future job opportunities.

From Your First Job to Your Career Path
The 2026 edition will be accompanied by an institutional campaign centered on the concept “Every great journey began with a first day.” The initiative will draw on the experiences of graduates and faculty members related to their first jobs to explore the start of professional life through specific situations and lessons learned.
The campaign aims to trace the journey from those early experiences to their current professional careers. Under the concept “Before they became who they are, they were those who were searching,” the pieces will highlight the value of learning that comes from tackling real problems, taking on tasks, and gaining experience.
