Architecture Exhibition “Atlas of the Artificial World”

May 25, 2015
From May 14 to 18, 2015, the Faculty of Architecture hosted the exhibition “Atlas of the Artificial World,” organized by students in the Architectural Research Methodologies course.

The instructors for the course are Architect Emilio Nisivoccia, Architect Fernanda Escayola, and Architect Paula Cardellino.

The course focuses on developing research projects exploring the current state of recent architectural culture and the challenges it may face in the future.

In this regard, the first step of the course presented in this exhibition aims to identify problems and develop analytical strategies for the issues raised.

Each of the posters presented by the students offers an initial exploration of the research topic through the question: What are the problems and challenges facing architecture in the immediate present and future?

Taken together, these presentations outline an atlas of contemporary architectural culture.
