Graduation Ceremony for Short-Term Programs at the School of Communication

The School of Communication celebrated the graduation of students from short-term programs with a moving academic ceremony and the presentation of certificates.

On May 19 and 22, the School of Communication held the Graduation Ceremony for its associate degree programs, honoring 71 new graduates who completed their studies.  

The event was held in the auditoriumof the School of Communication and was attended by faculty members, university officials, program coordinators, and graduates

Speech by the Dean and Message to the New Graduates

The ceremony was presided over by the academic secretary, Prof. Francisco Arri, who opened the event by welcoming those in attendance and highlighting the value of professional training in an era of constant change in the field of communications. 

Next, the dean of the School of Communication, Dr. Esteban Zunino, took the stage to share an inspiring message with the graduates.  

During his speech, he reflected on his background

"You are trained in fields that not only connect people, ideas, and brands, but also build relationships, foster trust, drive change, and create experiences."

He also highlighted the importance of the communicator's role in organizations:

"Their role will be crucial in organizations that need to communicate with purpose and build a reputation across their audiences in an increasingly demanding anddigital environment, but above all, they will be essential for connecting people, conveying emotions, and fostering bonds and relationships."

Zunino also praised the students’ hard work during their training and emphasized the importance of the bonds formed throughout the educational process

“You have developed the skills needed to analyze complex situations, because we have provided you with a wide range of tools and knowledge that will help you succeed in the workforce.”

Acknowledgments and Celebration 

The ceremony included the presentation of commemorative plaques to the graduates in recognition of their dedication and academic commitment.  

This event reaffirms the School of Communication’s commitment to academic excellence and to supporting its students at every stage of their professional development
