Dr. Ricardo Kaufmann, academic coordinator of the Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Administration, attended the 4th International Conference on Management Research and the 7th National Conference on Management Research – REDECEA 2025, held at the Tuluá campus of the Universidad del Valle (Colombia) from May 26 to 30, 2025.
The activities he carried out were as follows:
- Visit to the Tuluá campus of the Universidad del Valle and meeting with university officials.
- Lecture for advanced accounting students.
- Lecture for advanced students in Systems Engineering.
- Presentation: “Autonomous Management: AI Agents at the Helm of Government.”
- Presentation: “From Text to Strategy: How Generative AI Is Revolutionizing Public Administration.”
Dr. Kaufmann described this experience as “very enriching,” noting that during discussions with other educators and professionals, they agreed that“the immediate challenge is to train managers capable of working with intelligent systems, interpreting their results, and translating them into responsible decisions.”
The visit to Tuluá made it clear that AI is no longer just a technological issue, but a key driver of administrative practice. Talking with colleagues from different countries confirmed that organizations of all sizes are rethinking their planning, oversight, and leadership processes in light of these new digital capabilities.
