The SNI, which operates under the National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII), promotes the classification and financial incentives for researchers, the generation of knowledge across all fields, and the strengthening and expansion of the national scientific community.
School of Management and Social Sciences
The new faculty researchers who have joined the SNI are: Dr. Facundo Danza and Dr. Matías Brum, both at the “Initiation” level in the Social Sciences, subfield of Economics and Business.
The faculty researchers who renewed their appointments at the Entry level are: Dr. Santiago Acerenza, Social Sciences area, Economics and Business subarea; Dr. Gonzalo Croci, Social Sciences area, Other Social Sciences subarea; Dr. Martín Pereyra, Social Sciences area, Other Social Sciences subarea; Dr. Florencia Amorelli, Social Sciences area, Economics and Business subarea.
Dr. Flavia Roldan renewed her status as a Level I researcher in the Social Sciences area, Economics and Business subarea.
School of Architecture
Architect Andrea Castro, academic coordinator of the Architecture program at ORT, was admitted to the SNI at the Entry level in the Humanities area, Art subarea. Dr. Paula Cardellino renewed her status to remain a Level I researcher in the Humanities area, Art subarea; and Dr. Guillermo Lockhart renewed his status as an Entry-level researcher in the Humanities area, Art subarea.
School of Communication
Prof. Dr. Francisco Arri, academic secretary of the ORT School of Communication, was admitted to the SNI at the Entry level in the Social Sciences area, Communication and Media subarea.
School of Design
Dr. María Carolina García, a visiting professor at the School of Design and holder of a Ph.D. in Communication and Semiotics from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (Brazil), was appointed as a Level I researcher in the Humanities, subfield of Other Humanities.
School of Engineering
Dr. Daniel Calegari was reappointed at Level I, in the Engineering and Technology area, subarea of Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, and Information Engineering; Dr.María Inés Fariello was reappointed at Level I, in the Engineering and Technology area, subarea of Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, and Information Engineering; Dr.Gerardo Matturro was reappointed at Level Iin the Engineering and Technology area, subarea of Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, and Information Engineering; Dr. Cecilia Ortiz was reappointed atLevelI in the Medical and Health Sciences area, subarea of Health Biotechnology.

Institute of Education
Dr. Andrea Tejera Techera —academic coordinator of the Master’s Program in Educational Management, the Master’s Program in Trainer Education, and the Center for Continuing Education in Higher Education—was promoted to Level I in the Social Sciences area, subarea of Educational Sciences.
In turn, Dr. Gabriel Díaz Maggioli —a graduate-level instructor at the Institute of Education—and Dr. Mariela Questa-Torterolo —deputy academic coordinator of the Master’s Program in Educational Management and the Master’s Program in Trainer Education—were reappointed to remain at Level I, in the Social Sciences area, subarea of Educational Sciences.
