As part of the “Leading Transformations” interview series produced by El Observador, María Noel Durán speaks with experts about the challenges facing the business world. In this installment, they discussed the key aspects of the internationalization of Uruguayan companies.

Eliana Sartori, CPA, MBA, is the director of the Legal and Tax Department at PwC Uruguay and a professor at ORT. Félix Abadi, CPA, is a professor of taxation at the School of Administration and Social Sciences. Both are faculty members of the Master’s Program in Taxation and Accounting Standards—IFRSprogram. 

The experts noted that expanding into international markets presents an opportunity for companies to reach new customers, diversify risks, and strengthen their growth.
