Ever since she was a little girl, she had been inventing objects for her room. “That’s how the idea of studying industrial design came about; I started researching the program and got really excited about it.” It was in 2003 when she decided to pursue a bachelor’s degree in industrial design.
I chose to study at ORT because of its strong track record and ongoing commitment to helping its students enter the job market.
“For each assignment, I gave it my all to meet the deadlines and requirements.” He believes he had access to adequate facilities. “The university set up a lab with a variety of machines and tools that were very useful throughout my degree program . During assignment deadlines, we spent most of the day there.”
Remember that the professors were completely dedicated to the subject. “They were our support throughout our studies; they always gave us their feedback and shared their experience, both for academic projects and for other work outside the university.”
In addition, during her years as a student, Leticia formed a close-knit group of classmates.
“I made a lot of friends.”
In 2008, he took the “Integrative Project” workshop, through which he established contact with Sadisol, a company that manufactures leather armchairs.
He was offered a position in the product development department.
I am primarily responsible for the development of their products—including their structure, filling, and molding—as well as for monitoring and controlling the items throughout the various stages.
Leticia wants to continue working as a designer, gain experience, and, in the long term, hopes to start her own design studio.
