Universidad ORT Uruguay October 30, the load-bearing test of the structures submitted as part of the 2025 edition of the Spaghetti Challenge.
In that task, each team had to load their structure with clay bricks until it collapsed.
Santiago Burgueño, from Liceo No. 1 in Minas (Lavalleja), won first prize, which consists of an scholarship covering 80% of the tuition for one of the degree programs in the School of Architecture (Architecture program or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design).
Second second place went to Gonzalo Comasfrom Liceo No. 1 in Melo; while third place went to Lucía Vieito and Julieta Giudicefrom Liceo No. 6 in Bauzá.
Together, all the winners received a 100% scholarship to take the course Architectural Projects with BIM Methodology.
