Highlighting students' work
Yearbooks are vivid testimonies to the teaching and learning process that characterizes the faculty. According to Architect Andrea Castro, PhD candidate in Materials, Structures, and Land Engineering at the University of Alicante (Spain), professor and academic coordinator of the Architecture program, in the 2024 Architecture Yearbook:
“It is a valuable opportunity to highlight our students’ academic progress throughout the year.”
“This yearbook also invites us to take a step back and look at things with perspective, to recognize the personal and academic growth that each student has experienced throughout their education,” added the architect, who notes that, “more than just a simple compilation,” this yearbook is:
“A celebration of the educational process, of our commitment to learning and knowledge, and of the collective effort that defines the spirit of our program.”
Meanwhile, Ricardo Chelle, M.Ed., architect and academic coordinator of the Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, noted that in 2024, “the program reaffirmed its commitment to the community through outreach activities, where design is linked to social awareness and contributions to the community,” a commitment reflected in this new edition of the Interior Design yearbook.
