On July 9, ORT welcomed the new cohorts of the EMBA, the Blended-Learning Executive MBA, the Master’s in Taxation and Accounting Standards, the Master’s in International Taxation, and the Specialization Diplomas in Taxation, International Taxation, and Accounting.
Dr. Norma Pontet Ubal, PhD, the school’s academic coordinator, welcomed the students and introduced the entire graduate program team. Meanwhile, the dean of the faculty, Dr. Teresa Cometto, noted that deciding to pursue a graduate degree “means you’ve decided what you want to do with your lives.” She said it is a process of “significant learning,” both in terms of methodologies and from your fellow students and professors. She reminded the new students that “you are the leaders who will be making an impact on society.”
