Opening of the multimedia installation “Shakespeare Lives,” created by a professor of Multimedia and Digital Arts

On October 20, 2016, the Anglo-Uruguayan Cultural Institute hosted the opening of the multimedia installation “Shakespeare Lives,” created by Fabián Barros, M.A., professor of Multimedia and Digital Arts at the School of Communication and Design, as part of the celebrations marking the 400th anniversary of the death of the writer William Shakespeare.

This is an artistic spatial intervention featuring a multi-screen audiovisual projection of images and sound from various adaptations of Shakespeare.

This installation was supported by Universidad ORT Uruguay. Other contributors included Luisho Díaz, a graduate of the Bachelor’s program in Industrial Design, and Gianfranco Piana, a graduate of the Bachelor’s program in Multimedia Design, among others.
