ORT attended the Annual Meeting of CEMPRE Uruguay

Universidad ORT Uruguay in the Annual Assembly of CEMPRE Uruguay, an event that brought together members and partners to review progress and set priorities in sustainability and the circular economy.

Representing Universidad ORT Uruguay was Inés Tiscornia, M.A., deputy coordinator of Environmental Management, who participated in the exchange with stakeholders from the public and private sectors.

Presentation of the 2026 Strategy

During the event, CEMPRE Uruguay (Corporate Commitment to Recycling) presented its 2025 Impact Report and its 2026 Strategy as part of the celebration of its 30-year history, according to information released by the organization.

The meeting took place on March 19 at Guyer & Regules.

ORT's Commitment to Sustainability

This initiative is part of Universidad ORT Uruguay institutional commitment Universidad ORT Uruguay sustainability and its collaborative efforts with organizations in the ecosystem.

In this regard, the university developed initiatives with CEMPRE Uruguay through the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Center (CBI+I), such as a pilot composting program in Rivera, which strengthened collaboration between academia and stakeholders committed to environmental management.

These actions are in line with Sustainable Development Goal 17, which aims to promote partnerships to strengthen collaboration among different stakeholders.
