Economics Seminar: Presentation of a Paper on Skilled Migration

As part of the economics seminar organized by the School of Business and Social Sciences, Juan José Calvo, an economist, presented his work on Thursday, November 28.

Juan José Calvo is an economist who completed graduate studies in demography in France.

He currently works at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and is a researcher at the Multidisciplinary Unit of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of the Republic.

During the seminar, he presented his paper, “Brain Drain or Exodus? Reflections on Skilled Migration.”
