The Charlotte de Grünberg Scholarship is a competitive scholarship whose winner will receive 100% coverage of the total cost of a university degree program of their choice at Universidad ORT Uruguay, beginning in March 2026. In addition, the winner will receive $30,000 (Uruguayan pesos) per month throughout the program to cover study-related expenses.

In this first phase, the in-person test was administered, based on a reading of the book *The Girl Who Watched the Trains Leave*, by Ruperto Long.

The event assessed reading comprehension, analysis, and critical thinking regarding the story. Dozens of young people from various departments across the country attended.

The participants share a vision of embarking on an innovative and transformative university journey.

The selection process consists of several stages: the in-person exam, the selection of semifinalists, interviews, and, finally, the selection of the scholarship recipient.

The exam will be graded by the dean of the School of Engineering at Universidad ORT Uruguay, Eduardo Mangarelli, M.Eng.

Once this process is complete, the 10 semifinalists will be selected and notified as soon as possible.

Each party will have five business days from the date of notification to proceed to the next stage.
