This is the second time ORT has participated in PONTE, an invitation that reflects recognition of the institution’s academic commitment.
The first event was held in person and featured a clothing collection designed by Isabella Berrutti, a graduate in Fashion Design with a master’s degree in Styling and Fashion Communication fromthe Institute of Image and Communication Studies ( IDEP Barcelona).
The invitation was extended by Alexandra Cabral and Dr. Carol García, the event’s creative director and curator, respectively.
“It has been a wonderful experience to encourage our students to participate in this event, which opens doors to international dialogue and highlights creativity, research, and innovation in fashion,” said designerMariana Muzi, academic coordinator of the Fashion Design program.
What is PONTE?
This is an annual fashion event held in Portugal, featuring both national and international designers.

The event is inspired by the aristocratic parties thatCount Burnayused to host at his palace in the early 20th century.
The event highlights heritage and sustainability as central themes for reflection and aims to foster collaboration among creatives and institutions worldwide, connecting them to the global market.
PONTE was organized by the Via Criativa Association – Design for Local Development and the University Center for Fine Arts of São Paulo, with support from the Library Network and the Lisbon City Council, among other public and private partners.
