The School of Design Presents the Montevideo Shopping Scholarship

This opportunity is intended for those who wish to pursue a bachelor's degree in fashion design at the university. The scholarship covers 50% of the total cost of the program.
The School of Design Presents the Montevideo Shopping Scholarship

The program was established through an agreement between the Universidad ORT Uruguay, through its School of Design, and Montevideo Shopping.

"This joint scholarship presents a great opportunity to promote young talent in fashion design," explained Oscar Aguirre, dean of the Design Department.  

We both share the view that design plays a very significant role in society. 

Requirements and Application

To be eligible, anyone who has completed the 12th grade or has no more than two outstanding courses may apply for the scholarship, regardless of their high school track or the year in which they attended. Applications must be submitted by March 14.

To participate, interested individuals must enroll in the Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, apply for the scholarship that best fits their profile, and take the Academic Aptitude Test (PAA). It is worth noting that those who have applied in previous scholarship periods may also participate. The PAA will be held on March 21.

Study Fashion Design

The Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design is designed for those who wish to turn their passion for fashion and their creativity into a professional career. In theFashion Design Lab, students take their ideas from the exploratory phase all the way to the creation of signature collections in a cutting-edge environment. Their academic experience is complemented by platforms for showcasing their work, such as events, capsule collection fashion shows, and personal portfolios, providing them with a solid foundation and a distinctive regional identity.

The graduates' achievements and the recognition of their own brands, combined with the collaboration of international faculty and leading designers, reflect the impact and quality of this program in the world of fashion design.
