Applicationsare nowbeing accepted from teachers whoare part of school leadership teams in vulnerable communities in Uruguay and are interested in expanding their knowledge and skills in educational management.
The initiative, launched bythe ReachingU Foundationand the Universidad ORT Uruguay, will award36 full scholarships covering 100% oftuitionfortheCertificate in Educational Management with an emphasis on Transformative Leadership.
This programbegins on March 23, 2026, and is designed to train specialists with the skills needed to manage projects and lead change and improvement processes in various areas of education.
The 8-month Certificate in Educational Management with an Emphasis on Transformational Leadershipcombines synchronous(real-time virtual sessions)and asynchronous (work on the virtual platform and individual activities)methodologies. In addition, it includestwo in-person sessions: one at the beginning and another at the end of the program.
The application deadline is March 5, 2026.
Applicants must meet the followingrequirements:
- Hold a teaching credential officially recognized by ANEP or the Ministry of Education and Culture, or a bachelor’s degree.
- Serve on the administrative team of a school in a disadvantaged community in Uruguay.
- Be available for work based on the weekly course load (at least 10 hours per week).
In addition, interested parties will need to fill out a registration form, which will ask for the following information:
- Personal information.
- Education.
- Professional experience (current position and school where you are currently employed).
- Brief description of your motivation for pursuing the certificate.
- A scanned copy of your degree.
