Human resources is undergoing a transformation that is expanding the scope of its traditional functions. In addition to recruitment, personnel management, and compensation, the field now includes responsibilities related to data analysis, digital systems, and the use of new technologies.
These changes are reshaping the skills needed to manage people within organizations. Interpreting information on turnover, absenteeism, staffing, or training, for example, allows for the incorporation of evidence into decisions that previously might have relied primarily on administrative procedures.
Data-Driven Management
Digital transformation is another component of the academic program. The technical degree program will include training in artificial intelligence, an introduction to business software, and instruction on official systems related to the workplace, such as those of the Social Security Bank (BPS) and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security (MTSS).
Thus, the plan encompasses three dimensions: human management, data intelligence, and digital agility. This combination aims to develop professionals capable of understanding processes involving people while also working with the tools and information that are playing an increasingly important role in those processes.
Graduates will be able to perform personnel administration and human resources management tasks in public and private organizations, assume responsibilities in this area within family-owned businesses or small companies, and join specialized teams at larger organizations as analysts.
The first class of the Human Resources Analyst technical program will begin classes on March 15, 2027.
