The contest was organized by the program "Tiempo Presente" on Concierto FM, the BBC in London, and Universidad ORT Uruguay.
The presentation of the "El Periodista del Tiempo Presente" contest was led by Berch Rupenian, director of Concierto FM; Jorge Traverso, host of the "Tiempo Presente" program; and Virginia Silva, academic secretary of the School of Communication.
This activity involves the submission of a journalistic piece, from which a single winner will be selected.
The prize consists of a two-week internship at the BBC's headquarters in London, where the winner will work alongside the network's main news desk.
Upon his return, he will join the Tiempo Presente team.
