Universidad ORT Uruguay in a communications and advertising contest

ORT sponsored the contest "Values and Ethical Principles in Communication and Advertising," organized by the Uruguayan Chamber of Advertisers.

The competition, "Values and Ethical Principles in Communication and Advertising," took place on September 4, 2003, at the Club Uruguay.

In addition to being sponsored by Universidad ORT Uruguay, this competition received support from other universities in Uruguay.

In addition, it received support from the National Association of Broadcasters of Uruguay (ANDEBU), the Uruguayan Association of Advertising Agencies (AUDAP), and the Uruguayan Advertising Circle.

By the Universidad ORT Uruguay , students and graduates from the School of Communication and Design and the School of Business and Social Sciences participated in the contest.

The goal of the contest wasto encourage recent graduates and students in communication, advertising, and related fieldsto reflect on the social responsibility of advertisers, agencies, and the media in conveying values and ethical principles through their various communications.

The winner of the Undergraduate Students category received a round-trip ticket to Spain and the opportunity to participate in a 100-hour course in the International Business program at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona.

In addition, the winner of the Graduate Students or Alumni category will travel to Spain, where they will take a 100-hour course as part of the Master’s in International Business program at Pompeu Fabra University.
